Three people died in a car crash overnight in Manzë, Durrës.

The victims, the driver of the vehicle, Kleo Vrioni and 26-year-old Italian citizen Sara Brugentelli had been married only a few days before the crash.

The newlyweds were traveling in a BMW when Vrioni allegedly lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a concrete structure. Both died in the collision.

A third victim, 15-year-old Alvi Muhaxhiri, also lost his life in the crash.

Two other people were injured: 25-year-old Rejsi Vrijoni and 16-year-old Klevis Dervishi, who is reportedly in serious condition.

The crash has left the victims’ families and relatives in shock. Investigators are continuing to work to establish the full circumstances and cause of the accident.
