The Albanian National Territorial Council (KKT) reviewed a number of development and construction permits at its last meeting, totaling 50, with numerous projects for hotels and resorts mainly in the area of Durrës and in the South of the country standing out. After the growth of tourism in recent years, there is interest from developers for projects not only on the coast but also for medical tourism. The latter is also promoting the construction of hotels catering to people who come to the country for dental, aesthetic, and medical services.

KKT has granted a construction permit for the project: "Multifunctional hospital and hotel building with 16 floors above ground and 3 floors of underground parking," located in the Municipality of Tirana, with the developer company "Terra Construction" Ltd.

Another development permit has been granted for the project: "Multifunctional structure for services, medical tourism, and hotel," located in the Municipality of Lushnje, with the developer company "UPTC" Ltd.

In the south, the construction of resorts is expected to continue. A Development Permit has been granted for the project: "Hotel Structure with 4 floors above ground and 1 parking floor underground," located in Zvërnec, Municipality of Vlora, with the developer company "Globus Konstruksion" Ltd.

Another permit has been granted for a "Tourist, residential, hotel, and services complex," located in Gjilek, Himara Municipality, with the developer company "Orion" Ltd.

A "Hotel structure with 1, 2, 3, and 4 floors above ground and 2 floors underground," located in the Municipality of Himara, has the developer Aristidh Goro.

In addition to the resorts in the South, the construction of residential structures will continue. A building permit has been granted for the project: "Dyeus Residence and Suites with 1, 2, 3, and 4 floors above ground and 1 floor underground, with swimming pool and surrounding wall," located in Dhërmi, Himara, with the developer company "Artech Group."

Permits have also been granted on the coast of Durrës, including a "Hotel," located in Lalzi Bay, Durrës Municipality, with the developer company "Emav Group."

Some other permits are granted for agritourism projects.

Meanwhile, the Green Coast project in Palasa will continue its expansion. KKT discussed at the last meeting the granting of four Building Permits, which include residential residences with 1 to 9 floors above ground; 1 to 4 floors partially underground, and 1 floor underground; residential buildings with 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 floors above ground with 1 and 2 floors underground, swimming pools, and surrounding wall, located in Palasa, Himara Municipality, etc.
