The OSCE Presence to Tirana, welcomes the consensual approval by parliament of the amendments to the Assembly Rules of Procedure. 

In a short statement by the OSCE, this was considered  a positive step for political dialogue and the functioning of parliamentary democracy.

"The changes reflect a Constitutional Court decision, strengthen reciprocity between the majority and the opposition and broaden the space for a more active participation of all forces in parliament.

The proper implementation of the Rules will be essential to ensure inclusive and effective parliamentary practice and to support continued progress on Albania’s reform priorities" says statement.
