Prime Minister Edi Rama has started this week by releasing Monday good news for all citizens and entities that register road vehicles for the first time.

On a social media statement, the Head of Government said that starting from today, hardships, waiting times and excessive costs for citizens and entities that register road vehicles for the first time will be eliminated.

"Good morning and with the good news that starting from today we eliminate other angers, waiting times and excessive costs for citizens and entities that register road vehicles for the first time, I wish you a good week", wrote Rama.

However, over 60,000 internships a year will be removed that required translations and notarizations to the original of the foreign language documents.

According to the Prime Minister, this decision saves Albanian citizens 300 million ALL per year.

As of January 24, DPSHTRR recognizes:

- Documents of origin and technical documents in English

- Technical documents from the manufacturer from EU countries or according to the format of the codes of the EC Directives

- Data on the acquisition of ownership according to the customs declaration
