Govt Found Land Where Gjirokastra Airport Will Be Built

Prime Minister Edi Rama has published images from the old airfield where the Gjirokastra airport will be built. 

The head of the government writes that the competition for the airport is expected to open within the first 6 months of this year. 

Rama writes in a post on social networks that the decision to build the airport in the old airfield was taken after studies carried out with the help of international expertise in the Saranda-Gjirokastër area. 

"GOOD MORNING and with these views from the old airfield of Gjirokastra, where based on studies carried out with the help of international expertise in the Sarandë-Gjirokastra area, the new South Tourist Airport will be built, the competition for which is expected to open in The first 6 months of this year, I wish you a good day", writes Prime Minister Rama.
