The Police Oversight Agency (AMP) has launched another operation this evening at the Saranda Police Station as part of an investigation conducted in cooperation with the Saranda Prosecutor’s Office.

Sources indicate that, so far, an arrest warrant has been executed against an officer from the Serious Crimes Section of the Saranda Police Station, who is suspected of the criminal offense of “abuse of office.”

The identity of the police officer has not yet been made public, while the operation is still ongoing and further developments are expected in the coming hours.

These actions came after the visit of the Interior Minister and the General Director of the State Police.
