President Assures Support to New Polish Ambassador to Albania

President of the Republic Ilir Meta received this Monday the new Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Tirana, Monika Zuchniak-Pazdan, on the occasion of the presentation of Letters of Credence. 

President Meta congratulated the new Ambassador on her appointment and assured her of his support in the successful fulfillment of her diplomatic mission in Albania. 

The Head of State expressed confidence that the Ambassador's diplomatic experience will serve for the very good political relations between the two countries and our peoples to recognize new developments in the economic and trade fields, in tourism, education and culture. 

The Head of State praised the growing interest of Polish tourists in Albanian tourism and to visit our country while underlining the desire to turn Albanian tourism and Albania into not only a tourist destination but also an investment opportunity for Polish entrepreneurs. 

President Meta thanked the new Ambassador of Poland for her country's support to the European integration process of Albania and the Western Balkans, as well as for Poland's assistance, especially in the framework of V4 and V4-6B6. 

The Head of State expressed special gratitude for the support of the Government of Poland for the assistance provided to Albania in addressing the consequences of the earthquake of November 2019, as well as for coping with the pandemic COVID-19. 

President Meta asked Ambassador Zuchniak-Pazdan to convey his warmest and friendliest greetings to the President of Poland Andrzej Duda.
