President of the Republic, Ilir Meta went Saturday in Malesi e Madhe, where he will participate in the activity held to commemorate 100th anniversary of Koplik War.

Calling Malesi e Madhe as a remarkable region of patriotism, President Meta announced he was there today to honor the life, work and heroism of 77 Martyrs who gave their life for the freedom of Albanian lands.

"I am happy to be today in Malësia e Madhe, in this remarkable region of patriotism and wars for freedom, to commemorate together with the wonderful community the 100th anniversary of the Koplik War and to honor the life, work and heroism of the 77 Martyrs who shed blood for the protection of the freedom of Albanian lands. 

The blood of the Martyrs and Heroes of the Homeland cannot go in vain!" Meta emphasized.
