Suspension of small vessels in Vlora has been decided this Friday due to forecasts for worsening of the weather. 

Authorities made known that sailing for the Vlorë-Brindisi ferry will continue normally. 

"Based on the forecast for the worsening hydrometeorological situation in the bay of Vlora and outside it during March 10, 2023, starting at 10:00 on March 10, 2023, in the South-South-East direction at a force of up to 5-6bft with a wind speed of up to 15m/ s, and wave height up to 2.00m inside Vlora bay and outside Vlora bay at 6-7bft force with wind speed up to 25m/s and wave height from 1.50 to 2.50 meters. 

Based on this situation, sea navigation for small vessels and fishing vessels is suspended in Vlora. The sailing for the Vlorë-Brindisi ferry continues", the announcement of the authorities says.
