Shkodër, Robbers Dressed as Police Officers Steal Money from Dwelling

An armed robbery took place in the village of Boric i Vogel in Malësia e Madhe, Shkoder. It was 00:10 midnight when two armed people entered the apartment of the 36-year-old citizen, Ndue Ulaj.

Initially they were introduced as police officers, but then they robbed gold jewelry with a value of about 5 thousand euros and 11500 euros that the 36-year-old had in his work bag.

Initially, the robbers aimed their weapon at the 12-year-old boy who was in the kitchen, still awake, together with his 9-year-old sister. They then entered the room where Ndue Ulaj was, pointing the gun at him and neutralizing him. Initially, they asked for the gold items and handed them over, and then they took a bag that, in addition to the documentation and telephones, also had 11,500 euros.

The 36-year-old recounted this serious event, showing how the robbers pointed the gun at him and the children, as well as the 80-year-old mother, while he says that initially they said that they were the police and that they came for a check, but then they turned out to be robbers. The 36-year-old says that he notified the police through a phone call from his neighbours, but according to him, the officers arrived late, after an hour from the moment of the notification.

The 36-year-old says that he and his family feel insecure and that they already live with a great fear. Ndue Ulaj said that he withdrew the money from a bank in Shkodra from several years of savings from working as a taxi driver with the idea to build the second floor of the apartment and that the money is not dirty because it is the bank letter that confirms the withdrawal of the amount of 11,500 euros two or three days ago. The 36-year-old asks the police, the prosecution and the prime minister to solve the case, while he said that he will now find a weapon to keep with him because he will protect his children and family. The 36-year-old says that the children and his family are extremely stressed by that serious event and have suffered a psychic trauma.
