The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, has requested that Belgrade conduct a serious investigation into the attack in the north of Kosovo and reveal the connections of the criminal group with arms traffickers. 

He said that dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia is the only way to peace. 

"There has been a very serious event, a criminal terrorist attack in the north of Kosovo that anyone who would hold my office would react in the same way. 

Our attitude towards the process of dialogue and normalization remains unchanged, it is in complete harmony with the attitude of the EU and the USA. 

We have requested and declared several times officially and publicly that the format of this dialogue should be raised to the level of a normalization conference with the Franco-German plan. 

We expect Serbia to start serious investigations into the terrorist criminal group, potentially involved in an armed conflict in the north of Kosovo, and their connections with arms traffickers, or with other individuals and entities in Serbia or elsewhere. 

Kosovo-Serbia dialogue is the only path to peace, the parties must work courageously to reach a comprehensive agreement supported by the US and the EU which will enable mutual recognition between the two countries, Kosovo's membership in the UN and fair treatment of minorities,” Hasani said.
