On International Anti-Corruption Day, the American embassy in Tirana has issued an appeal, where it says that the fight against it requires more than words. 

In the message posted on social networks, the US Embassy in Albania underlines that for this reason, the US is the largest donor to the world’s leading anticorruption review mechanisms to ensure countries are living up to their obligations.

"December 9 is International Anticorruption Day! Fighting corruption takes more than talk, which is why the U.S. is the largest donor to the world’s leading anti-corruption review mechanisms to ensure countries are living up to their obligations.
