Bad weather has engulfed Albania during the early hours of this Monday morning, while in Vlora it has caused problems by bringing big waves at sea.

Due to this situation, the maritime authorities of Vlora have suspended the navigation of small vessels and fishing boats operating outside its bay.

Meanwhile, despite the forecasted meteorological conditions, the sailing of the ferry line Vlora-Brindisi-Vlora has not been suspended.

“Based on the forecast for the deteriorating hydrometeorological situation in the bay of Vlora and outside it for the dates 26-27.12.2021 in the direction South-South East in the force 4-5bft, 7-10m / s, wave height 0.50-1.00m inside the bay of Vlora and outside the bay of Vlora in the force of 6-7 to 8bft 15-20m / s and wave height from 1.50 to 2.50 meters.

With the forecasted hydrometeorological conditions, the Vlora-Brindisi-Vlora line ferry has no suspensions for carrying out the activity.
