Sailing of the Vlora-Brindisi-Vlora ferry has been suspended this Thursday until tomorrow due to the bad weather conditions and troubled sea.

Authorities have announced that the suspension has also been imposed on small vessels and fishing ships that set sail from the southern city’s port.

“Based on the forecast for the deteriorating hydrometeorological situation in the bay of Vlora and outside for the dates March 30, 2022 until April 01, 2022 will be in the direction SOUTH-SOUTHWEST and SOUTHEAST in the force 4-5bft 08-10m / s inside bay of Vlora and outside the bay of Vlora in the force of 6-7 to 8bft 25-40m / s with wave height from 2.50 to 4.50 meters.

1. The ferries of the line Vlora-Brindisi-Vlora have been suspended.

2. Small vessels are suspended.

3. Fishing boats are suspended.

4. The improvement of the deteriorated meteorological situation in the bay of Vlora and outside it for small vessels and fishing vessels will be on 01.04.2022 at 22:00”, said the announcement.
