Works have started this Wednesday for the construction of the new National Theatre, where the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, was also present, saying in his speech that this work will be built with budget money and not with public partnership private (PPP). 

According to Veliaj, the new theater will be one of the most beautiful works in our region, while he emphasized that most of the actors and architects have been hired for its construction. 

In his response to the critics, Veliaj said that the debates have also happened in other countries where works of this nature have been built. 

"Today we have to make up for lost time. It will be the most beautiful work of art in the Western Balkans. 

When we started this debate, they had different opinions. But today we have the agreement that the Theater will be on its own land. Today we have agreed that the Theater will be built with public money and not with partnership. 

Everything that has happened here has happened before in other countries. Today we have the largest consensus of actors and architects. The country needs such a space, just as many other works have been done", emphasized Veliaj, among other things.
