Spiropali Returns to Parliament, Reaffirms Commitment to Socialist Party Agenda
Albanian Socialist Party lawmaker Elisa Spiropali returned to Parliament on Tuesday following recent internal discussions within the ruling majority.
Speaking briefly to reporters upon arrival at the parliamentary building, Spiropali said work is continuing on what she described as a draft for a “new Albania,” stressing that attention should remain focused on future development projects.
“We are working. What matters is what we will do for Albania. I am in the Socialist Party, I have been and I will remain,” Spiropali said.
She reaffirmed her political position within the Socialist Party, adding that those who seek a “better Albania” should remain engaged in the party’s efforts.
“In the Socialist Party should be everyone who seeks a better Albania; they have done this historically and they are doing it today,” she added.
