Albanian Burglar Who Cannot Be Deported Feeds His Dogs Banknotes
An Albanian burglar fighting deportation has flaunted his wealth by posting an Instagram video of him feeding wads of banknotes to his dogs.
Dorian Puka has twice been jailed and deported for burglaries before sneaking back into Britain, where he has spent the past 18 months taunting the Home Office with videos of his extravagant lifestyle on social media.
In one clip the 29-year-old sits in an armchair offering £20 notes to his pitbull Cobra and a stack of £50 notes to his pug, named Mouse.
He has also posted footage of himself flaunting six Rolex watches worth £160,000 and cars such as Ferraris and a 2022 Lamborghini URUS V8 valued at £180,000.
Puka is facing deportation for the third time after the Government won a lower-tier immigration tribunal hearing to remove him from the UK following the rejection of his asylum claim. He has appealed against the ruling.
His criminal record and previous prison sentences mean he meets the criteria for automatic deportation from the UK. However, he has remained in Britain for more than three years because the Home Office has been unable to remove him while his asylum claim and legal challenges are ongoing.
A Home Office spokesman said: “This individual is a known foreign national offender, and we are doing everything in our power to ensure they are removed as soon as possible. While there are ongoing legal proceedings, we cannot comment further.
“Nearly 10,000 foreign national offenders have been returned under this Government. We will continue to do everything we can to remove these criminals from our streets.”
Shabana Mahmood, the Home Secretary, is changing the law to make it harder for foreign criminals and illegal migrants to use human rights law to avoid deportation. She is also streamlining the appeals system and creating fast-track routes to remove foreign offenders more quickly.
However, Chris Philp, the shadow home secretary, said: “This notorious Albanian criminal has been openly flaunting his wealth in the UK including sports cars and now this extraordinary video feeding his dogs cash.
“We should not allow foreign criminals like this to stay in the country. He must be immediately deported, and Shabana Mahmood must urgently ensure that he is kicked out so the British public no longer suffers his criminal behaviour.
“Foreign criminals like this often use the European Convention on Human Rights, asylum claims and modern slavery claims to stay in the UK. That’s why we must leave the ECHR and stop foreign criminals and illegal migrants using asylum and modern slavery claims to stay in the UK.”
Puka was originally jailed for nine months in 2016 and deported the following year for attempting to break into a property. The owner saw him on a webcam while on holiday in France.
Within a year, he managed to evade border controls and return to the UK, carrying out a string of burglaries in London.
He was eventually caught by plain-clothes officers patrolling Surbiton, in the south-west of the capital, after an increase in burglaries in the area.

He was wearing an expensive watch he had stolen, and was jailed for three-and-a-half years and deported in March 2020.
During his time in prison, he used an illegal mobile phone that had been smuggled in to post Instagram pictures of himself.
