Accession into the European Union will give Albania a hand in every sector and economic development is the reason why a country must become a member of the bloc, elaborated Tuesday the Chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Lulzim Basha.

The Opposition Leader made these remarks in a gathering with the employees of a clothes and footwear factory in Durrës, where he also showed the plan that the Democratic Party has for the reconstruction, increase of employment and the minimum wage.

At the same meeting, Basha said that the minimum wage is not increased by a normative act, but by reducing taxes, oil and energy prices. In this way, according to the leader of the Democrats, the state becomes an ally of entrepreneurship.

“The process of compensation, reconstruction is dishonest. In Durrës I heard how a destroyed apartment was originally DS5, it was registered as such, and back it was registered DS3. The first step we will do is reassess the damages. We will do it in such a way that the process goes as fast as possible.

Today, the vast majority of houses would be rebuilt by citizens with cash and we would be at an advanced stage. As with rebuilding and all other things in these years, it has been seen as a process for a handful of people to gain.

Membership will help Albania in every sector, and economic growth is one of the reasons why you should join the EU.
