Many Drivers Fined at 'Myslym Shyri' Street

Tirana Road Traffic Police has conducted dedicated monitoring in the street "Myslym Shyri", which is one of the main streets in the capital regarding traffic flow, punishing 120 vehicles parked in violation of the provisions of the Road Code. 

Police say the "Myslym Shyri" street remains a daily concern in relation to parking of vehicles in the traffic lane, creating serious obstacles in the movement of vehicles and becoming a risk of road accidents, due to maneuvers that road users perform from one lane in the other.

"Considering the difficulties of movement, due to the construction sites in some of the main axes of the capital, the concerns and problems that are addressed from time to time by citizens, in relation to incorrect parking, mainly those in the second row, the Traffic Police of Tirana has started the implementation of an action plan, on the monitoring and control of road axes identified as problematic in relation to the way of staying and parking vehicles on the road, in order to discipline and raise awareness of drivers on the risk and problems they cause, by their behavior in contradiction with the provisions of the Road Code of the Republic of Albania. 

Road Traffic Police of the capital will continue the police patrols in the function of the action plan, in order for the road users to understand and respect the legal obligations. State Police invites citizens and road users to help increase safety parameters, contributing to the construction of a safer environment," Police informed.
