President of the Republic, Ilir Meta awarded high titles to four personalities of Albanian sport, who have contributed too much to the field in question.

The high title "Knight of the Order of the Flag" to Mehdi Bushati, with the motivation: "As a sign of appreciation for his contribution and comprehensive personality in sports and in life. A prominent figure of Albanian sport; with rare qualities as a protagonist not only on the field but also as a leader in the highest sports functions of national and international level".

The high title "Grand Master" to Azis Tahiri (after his death) "As a sign of appreciation for the great contribution to the development and qualitative growth of physical culture and sports activities in our country, working diligently in perfecting their organization."

The high title "Grand Master" to Kristaq Miço "As a sign of appreciation for the great contribution to the development and reform of the structure of physical education and football, working with dedication to achieve high results, through improving the implementation of new projects".

The high title "Grand Master" to Lame Konomi (after his death) “As a sign of appreciation for the great contribution and excellent work in increasing the results of the sports club‘ Tirana ’in all disciplines and improving the conditions in the respective sports facilities. Prominent personality and example of special care for athletes to achieve high results. 

"It is a special pleasure to appreciate some of the highest leaders, but also the most prominent personalities of our sport, who for decades, with dedication, passion and leadership have been dedicated to the growth and quality development of Albanian sport, promoting its best values. 

Important and vital for our sport have been the reforms, responsibilities that have been undertaken, the spread of sports activities at the professional, amateur level and its development, especially the opening of sports classes," said President Meta during the ceremony.
