Protest Detainees Released After Clashes Outside Parliament

Several people detained during a protest in Tirana have been released from Police Station No. 1, including one of the demonstration's organizers, Arben Kola.

Kola, along with a female protester, was taken into police custody following tensions that erupted during a rally outside Albania's Parliament, where clashes broke out between some demonstrators and police officers.

After spending several hours at the police station, the detainees were released. Authorities have not immediately disclosed whether any charges will be filed.

Meanwhile, organizers say the protest will continue as planned, with demonstrators expected to gather outside the Prime Minister's Office at 7:00 p.m. local time. The rally is part of a series of protests that have been taking place in recent weeks.
