Rama Renews Call for Dialogue With Protesters as Students Demand His Resignation
Prime Minister Edi Rama is continuing his efforts to open dialogue with protesters following days of violent demonstrations in the country.
A stone table was once again placed outside the Prime Minister’s Office on Friday, symbolizing Rama’s willingness to sit down for talks with young protesters and discuss their demands.
However, students have so far rejected the prime minister’s invitation to dialogue, maintaining that their main demand is his resignation from office.
The renewed call for talks comes amid ongoing tensions following the recent protests, with demonstrators showing no willingness to engage in negotiations with the government unless their central demand is addressed.
