SPAK Executes Major Operation Against “Rraja” Criminal Group in Fushë-Krujë

The Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) has concluded a major operation in Fushë-Krujë, targeting the so-called “Rraja” criminal organisation, which investigators say has been involved in drug trafficking since 2020.

Authorities confirmed that 14 security measures were issued as part of the operation, 10 of which have been executed. Three individuals who were already in detention were officially notified of arrest warrants inside their prison cells, while four suspects remain at large.

Seven people were taken into custody:

Zamir Aliaj

Rexhep Rraja

Përparim Rraja

Gazmir Rraja

Sokol Qaja

Agim Nina, also known as Lorenc Izet Selmani

Marvin Bushati

Already in prison at the time of notification:

Jani Çavo

Aldo Gjini

Islam Sefa

Among those arrested is Rexhep Rraja, the son of former Socialist Party MP Rrahman Rraja, a detail that has drawn significant public attention.

SPAK says the investigation is ongoing, with efforts focused on locating the four remaining suspects and dismantling what it describes as a structured criminal group operating in the central region of the country.
