Tensions continued to escalate during a protest in the Albanian capital, as police fired rubber bullets toward demonstrators amid ongoing clashes in the protest area.

The incident followed reports of fireworks and Molotov cocktails being thrown toward law enforcement officers, as well as rubbish bins being set on fire.

Clashes between protesters and police continue, with the situation remaining tense in central Tirana.
