Prior to approval in Parliament of the Electoral Code, the representative of the Democratic Party (DP) at Political Council, Oerd Bylykbashi pointed out that there is no electoral system that saves Prime Minister Edi Rama from the deep loss in the next elections.

"When they lied that the coalition with a composite list could not be used with the open lists, we publicly proved that they were lying. Italy elects the local "parliaments" of Rome, Milan, Bologna or Florence by proportional voting with open lists where the voter has the right to vote for two candidates from the list of the coalition party. 

The Italian parties in these local parliamentary elections are linked to the coalition in the same way as in Albania, but they maintain their identity by competing with their own open list of candidates. Italian voters have the right to choose the candidate they want from the list of the coalition party. 

They said that with the coalition as we have, with a composite list, the ballot paper becomes very complicated. But Italy has solved it. We have been demonstrating the solution with a simple ballot for several months. 

There are many democratic systems in Europe, but there is no system to save Rama from the deep loss that awaits him!" declared Bylykbashi.
