Tirana was declared champion for the 25th time of Albanian Super league in the 100th anniversary of the club and the Municipality of Tirana has allocated 150 million ALL as a financial reward for footballers, technical staff and support staff.

In the online meeting of the Municipal Council, Mayor Erion Veliaj said that this is another promise kept and stressed that this offer is valid for all teams that will bring cups to Tirana.

"I am glad that we honored our word until the end and it is the first time that a Municipality gives such a large reward. I am very happy that the football cup will continue to stay in Tirana this year as well. I wish a lot of success to the Tirana team, as it continues its matches, projects and dreams for the future. We will continue to reward those who decorate Tirana with cups,” he said.

The Mayor underlined that the reward to Tirana team aims to promote sports culture.

Based on the decision, the reward will be shared based on a list previously submitted by the Tirana club to the municipality. The money will be given to everyone, based on their merit and position in the team.
