Albania’s State Police have announced a detailed security operation ahead of the Albania–England international match, set to take place on 16 November at the Air Albania Stadium in Tirana.

Hundreds of officers will be deployed before, during and after the game, with authorities arranging full escort measures for the England team from Rinas airport to their hotel and the stadium.

Security checks at the venue will be strict, with police banning a wide range of items, including fireworks, flares, pyrotechnics, lighters, metal coins, umbrellas and cosmetic products. Additional patrols will be stationed across the capital to maintain public order.

From 14:00, several streets surrounding the stadium will be closed to traffic. Police have also issued warnings of criminal penalties for unauthorised pitch invasions, the throwing of objects, or acts of violence during the match.

Stadium gates will open at 15:00, and supporters have been urged to arrive early to avoid long queues. Authorities say their priority is to ensure a safe, incident-free event in line with international security standards.
