The court of Tirana has released from prison the doctor Fitim Marku, by assigning the security measure "house arrest" for him. Marku was arrested in the premises of the Trauma Hospital on the charge of taking bribes from patients. 

On Monday morning, it was learned that the doctor had suffered cerebral ischemia in custody and had been sent to the emergency room. 

Due to his health condition, the doctor did not have the opportunity to give explanations in front of the court on Monday, when the re-evaluation session of the security measure was scheduled.
