Briton among Six Killed in Krakow Shooting as Police Say Three other Bodies Found Are Suspect's Family

Six people were killed and a further 16 injured in Saturday's attack in Krakow.

Five of the injured were foreign nationals from Austria, Britain, Germany, Portugal and Russia.

Two police officers were also hurt - they were named by Poland's prime minister as Senior Constable Jakub Kulik and Senior Constable Artur Mora?ski.

One of these officers is described as being in a "very critical condition" after being shot three times while arresting the attacker.

Though not confirmed that he is the officer being referred to, police have called for blood donations to support Kulik who is "fighting for his life".

A statement from an association representing Krakow's horse-drawn carriages says "many of our colleagues were injured", adding "two are fighting for their lives, several have suffered serious injuries".
