Man Sentenced for Fraud Arrested in Tirana

As a result of the controls, a wanted person was arrested, sentenced to 10 years in prison for several criminal offenses. According to the police, the arrested person is Musa Rama, 65 years old, a resident of Tirana. 

The Tirana Court of Appeal has sentenced the 65-year-old man to 10 years in prison for the criminal offenses of "Aiding illegal border crossing", "Fraud" and "Forgery of identity cards, passports and stamps". 

"The services of the Special Forces Sector for Special Operations and Research in Tirana, in cooperation with the specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Illegal Traffic, have intensified the controls within the coded police operation 'Rule of Law', for the identification and strike of cases of illegalities and for the arrest of citizens wanted for various criminal offenses. 

As a result of the checks, on "Arkitekt Kasemi" street, the citizen was located, captured and handcuffed: 

Musa Rama, 65 years old, resident in Tirana. 

The Tirana Court of Appeal has sentenced this citizen to 10 years in prison for the criminal offenses of "Aiding illegal border crossing", "Fraud" and "Forgery of identity cards, passports and stamps". 

Operation "Rule of Law" follows. 

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office, i.e. the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions," the police said.
