President Hands Over 'Grand Master' Titles to Prominent Basketball Players
President of the Republic, Ilir Meta honored during a solemn ceremony the two prominent basketball players of the Partizani Team and the Albanian National Team, Artan Terihati and Pjerin Bushati with the title "Grand Master".
The Head of State decorated the basketball player Artan Terihati, with the motivation: "For the talent and the comprehensive preparation, shown in the basketball game, proving outstanding skills as a basketball player and coach with the 'Partizani' Team and the National Team. Distinguished for the quality game and its correctness on the field".
While the basketball player Pjerin Bushati was honored with the motivation: "As a sign of appreciation for the contribution given to the sport of basketball, as a talented player, prominent in many successes of the 'Partizan' team and the National Team, in the national and international arena."
The President of the Republic said that Terihati and Bushati enjoy special respect in the basketball and sports community, not only as high-level basketball players, but also as dedicated coaches of the younger generations.
"It is a pleasure to appreciate today the sports career and high results of the two prominent basketball players of the great basketball team 'Partizani', which has given us unforgettable emotions.
