Six Albanian citizens were arrested by the Italian authorities as a result of the "Hermanos" operation, where 18 people were accused of trafficking 109 kg of cocaine and marijuana, of which 47 were seized. 

It is known that the criminal group had connections with Central America where they brought cocaine to Antwerp, Belgium and then to Italy, while they are also responsible for an attempted murder in Ibiza, Spain. Among those arrested, apart from Italians and Romanians, there are also Albanians: 

1- Renato Nikaj, 29-year-old resident of Sesto S. Giovanni 

2-Florian Qemali, 40-year-old resident of Bagnolo Mella 

3-Arian Rezi known as Visi, 39 years old from Tirana 

4-Edmir Demiraj known as Edi, 39 years old, resident in Albania 

5-Andi Shukurti, 42 years old 

6-Ilir Kuci, 50 years old, born in Berat and living in Milan
