It was one of those typical English transfers, one that keeps you breathless until the last seconds of gong. Granada made official Myrto Uzuni on its squad exactly at 23:00, just 60 minutes before the gong drop. The striker of Albanian origin was signed until June 2025.

The young red and white footballer has experience at the highest level of European football in the Champions League and Europa League and is a player of the Albanian National Team.

"Uzuni successfully passed the medical examinations and will join the team in training on Tuesday", it was said in the official statement of Granada, which introduced him by doing the first juggling with the ball in the stadium. A few moments before the official announcement came the thanks of Ferencvaroshi, who have a net profit from the sale of the player of 2.2 million euros. 

Albanian clubs, Apolonia and Laçi, also benefit from this transfer, the teams that had the footballer as part of them until the age of 23. They will collect 3% of the transfer value of the card, which is around EUR 90.000. Granada is thought to have paid 3 million euros for his card. Uzuni became Granada's third transfer to the winter market after that of fantasy player Alex Kojado (on loan from Barcelona) and Serbian midfielder Njegos Petrovic, who was transferred from Crvena Zvezda.

Uzuni shone with Ferencvaros where he scored 36 goals and provided 14 assists in 67 games. While the club where he is going, Granada, ranks 14th in La Liga this season.
