Prosecutors in Saranda have ordered the seizure of the “Central Park Premium Hotel” in Ksamil, citing illegal construction, and imposed house arrest on its owner, Kujtim Peposhi.

Authorities said the five?storey hotel, along with a smaller unauthorized building nearby, will be formally seized on October 6. Police delayed execution of the court order after finding tourists still staying at the property.

The investigation, launched in 2025 under criminal proceeding no. 522/2025, also targets state officials suspected of abuse of office for allowing the construction. Prosecutors confirmed that further inquiries are underway to identify other individuals involved.
