Thousands Join March in Tirana to Support Ukraine
Thousands joined march to support Ukraine this Friday in Albania. Gathering kicked off at 12:00 to support Ukraine and the population there, which is currently facing Russian aggression.
This event, which started from "Skënderbej" square will continue until "Vëllezërit Frashëri" square, has been called by the Ukrainian community in Tirana and was attended by a large number of citizens.
Meanwhile, the police has announced that the restriction of movement will be done in the segments:
“Bajram Curri” Boulevard, the segment from the intersection with “Ibraim Rugova” street to “Dëshmorët e Kombit” boulevard; “Dëshmorët e Kombit” boulevard, the segment from the intersection with “Bajram Curri” boulevard to the intersection with “Ismail Qemali” street; “Dëshmorët e Kombit” boulevard, the segment from “Skënderbej Square” to “Bajram Curri” boulevard (temporarily in the time interval during the march).
While the circulation of vehicles, emergency vehicles and the State Police will be done, in the following axes: "Ibrahim Rugova" street, "Jean D'Ark" boulevard, "Ismail Qemali" street and "Papa Gjon Pali" street.
The itinerary of the movement of vehicles on urban lines will continue the movement as follows: the Ring line will be diverted to the bridge of the Police Directorate and the bridge of Elbasan Street, (only for the anti-clockwise direction); the "New Tirana" line will deviate to "Wilson" square and "UFO".
