Premier Seeks Support from Hungary on Albania’s EU Integration

Prime Minister Edi Rama has declared Tuesday that he has asked from his Hungarian counterpart, Viktor Orban, help and support regarding the European Union accession, development and modernization of Albania.

During a press conference with Orban, PM Rama pointed out that Hungary is a country with a lot of knowledge and impressive experiences, as he expressed gratitude to his counterpart for the generosity to provide all the necessary support for the transfer of knowledge.

In addition, the Albanian Prime Minister emphasized that he is looking forward to cooperation with Hungary while asking for bilateral cooperation not only in economics, but also in culture and education.

"It is an honor to be a friend of the Prime Minister and to have the opportunity to exchange views with him on the topics he mentioned, but first to ask him for support and assistance in the path of development, modernization and integration.

In our view, Hungary is a country where there is a lot of knowledge, there are incredible, impressive experiences, I am very grateful to the Prime Minister for his generous disponibility to give us all the necessary support for the transfer of knowledge. We want to cooperate not only in economics, but also in culture and education.

What Hungary has done to improve education and support young people and talents to encourage families to see the future and with as much hope as possible is inspiring. I am grateful and I look forward to the cooperation", said Rama.
