Sen. Lindsey Graham Doubles Down on Call for Putin's Assassination

US Senator Lindsey Graham stands by his call that Vladimir Putin should be assassinated.

The Republican top lawmaker's statement has caught everyone's attention, but when asked if he still thinks Putin should be ousted, Graham said: "Yes, I hope he's gone one way or another."

Unlike the International Criminal Court, Graham offered an alternative scenario. "I do not care how they take him out. I do not care if we send him to The Hague and try him; I just want him to go."

The call sparked a wide-ranging reaction across the political spectrum, including Senator Ted Cruz, in which he said calls for Putin's assassination were a dangerous and impulsive call that could make the Russian leader attack.
