Violence Outside Police Station No. 3 in Tirana Leaves Officer Injured, Property Damaged

An incident of violence outside Police Station No. 3 in Tirana has left a police officer injured and caused significant damage to the facility, including broken windows and doors, according to local reports.

The unrest occurred late last night when a group of masked individuals reportedly attacked the building, throwing forceful blows that shattered glass and damaged entry points of the station.

During the incident, an officer who was inside the building sustained injuries after being struck by broken glass. She was reported to have suffered wounds to her elbow.

Emergency medical staff arrived shortly after the violence and provided first aid at the scene before the injured officer was transported to a hospital for further treatment.

Authorities say the officer is currently in stable condition and is expected to recover.
